Hot Krispy Kreme, and coffee.  The donut was right off the factory conveyor.  (I have video.)  Mefite Stewriffic, my gracious host in Durham, related to me the hitherto unknown fact that Krispy Kreme is a North Carolinian product.  Authenticity!  It tastes like donut! I worry it might have ruined my appetite a little bit for dinner — I didn’t finish my (tasty) BBQ — but, dammit, I’m an adult and I’m allowed to be irresponsible.
